A Visual Delight, but still have to disagree with RIDLEY SCOTT that EXODUS is his best movie. GLADIATOR was way ahead of this one!
Now imagine a movie directed by RIDLEY SCOTT, acted by Mr. Perfectionist - Christian Bale and Joel Edgerton (The Great Gastby and WARRIOR fame) and a canvas which paints the greatness of Egyptian empire. What else you need to see in a movie.
And if I go into the theatre that this one will be better than the previous Best of RIDLEY- GLADIATOR which was made 15 years back, then is it too much! I guess its no!
Well the movie is still a visual delight! However cant give this one more than 3.5.
The movie- as the trailers showed, is about the famous FARAOH- RAMSES and His brother - MOSES.
Both were raised together! They were like brothers. When Ramses became the king, Moses became his most true adviser. But when the identity of MOSES was finally revealed as his heritage was from HEBREW, RAMSES banished him to die in the deserts.
Gods as they say saved him to free - 4 lack hebrew slaves!
The sequence of transformation of a self confused to a determined Moses could have been better depicted.
The fight sequence no doubt will take your breath away and you will say- Wow!
Time for Some Critics Style Approach:
However the inter- personal relation shown of Moses and Ramses even after brilliance in delivery of dialogues - could have been better.
And the story of becoming God of Moses even though a very popular myth but the retelling could have been better!
But never the less. the scenes of 10 plagues attacking the king's city will make you wonder! The scenes will remain in your mind even after the movie.
The movie of 2.5 hours long will hold you to the seats!
Ridley Scott is still one the best in hollywood when it comes to showing history to the modern world.
Going with 3.5 stars!

The actors, and the way they were managed will make your stay uncomfortable even in most posh seats of multiplex.
Literally No Humour, Sad and Rotten Story, and stupid ideas.
The story is about 5 guys who challenge the system and try and change the society in their own way. Kangna who showed that she is one of the best actress post QUEEN, but here she has really shown how worse she can act if she is not controlled.
HASMI is in same mode as he was in his past 6 movies. Well, I am yet to figure out, what was the need of the ROLE of SANJAY DUTT. As Soon as I know, will let you know!

The story is about Aslam, a STUPID POOR INDIAN - The Common Man! PM, stressed with coalition govt. decides to visit Peer baba Dargah in Fatehpur! And suddenly the poor state of the small town changes over night! And in a Bizzare Miscommunication, ASLAM gets ZED Security.
And the story unfolds brilliantly! Will make you laugh over its brilliant dialogues, and super acting skills. Adil as ASLAM, Mona Singh as Aslam's Wife, Mukesh Tiwari as Habib- Aslam's neighbour, Sanjay Mishra, Kulbhushan Kharbanda as PM as just brilliant. NO Nonsense songs makes it even better, but yes background music could have been little better.
Life changes for Aslam as the political bug bites him and the transition of a common man to somewhat changed person is shown brilliantly on screen.
Must Go! You will have a fresh feel from Indian Cinema, that is so much about PUNJABI SONGS and PUBS and Embarrassing Stupid Songs with Strange Lyrics!
Going with 3.7 Stars out of FIVE.

Jennifer Aniston looked better 10 years ago. Jamie Foxx has done much better than this in his previous flicks,
You can avoi this one, as you may laugh in some of the scenes, but not really a movie you want to see on Priority. Watch it if you have time, when it will come on HBO or Star Movies.
The storyline has nothing to do with BOSSES or OFFICE POLITICS, nor any story for that matter; its just about the LAWS of SEQUELS.
The 3 Actors, 3 Bosses, just too many to handle. I watch movies for fun, not really to scrutinize it, but with this flick- THE FUN was missing!

The movie has just enough not to be called as boring!
Saif as a writer who has lost the MOJJO to write in all the Fame, Money Booze and Girls he got. Like his 10 movies of the past he is in the same character where he left- NO LOVE PLEASE- Just Girls and Love by accident. And of course, he changed girls like clothes!
The character has no change as was in Love aaj kal or Salaam Namaste or Hum Tum - Official or Cocktail Hindi Movie (2012 film)
And this time it wasnt even half interesting as it used to be.
SAIF is a writer in this movie and when he is broke, he got an opportunity to write the script for a HINDI SINGLE SCREEN SUPERSTAR- Govinda. His contract was taken by a new age love story writer Ileana D ' Cruz. Movie starts with extreme disappointment, however with Ranvir Shorey on screen it become a little more interesting.
The movie takes no turn and everything will happen exactly how you thought it would. The entry of Govinda saved the movie from being a super duper stupid romantic comedy.
The movie is full of one liners which are decent and will act as catalyst which will calm you mind an will make you feel, that movie still has something and may be there is a good happy ending! But Sorry- there isn't any!
Ileana D'Cruz is looking ok, but the bold writer kind of role, is not really suiting her too much though!
So, finally there's not much which you will take away apart from a few scattered forgettable smiles in the course of the 2 hours 15 minutes.
However there's an underline: how come most movies made are now about- DON'T GET MARRIED and KIDS OHH PLEASE NO!
What To Watch For:
- Nothing, but in case you see this flick, you will enjoy the dialogue delivery of GOVINDA and RAVIR SHOREY.
- PREITY ZINTA is indeed looking worn out and a mom of 3 kids as shown in the movie. All you "Dimple" fans, you can still go!
- SAIF's conscience is FAT and Sings - PAAJI YOU're SUCH A PUSSY CAT, has done well!
- And Yes You will see the beautiful CALIFORNIA in the movie
OOPS... i forgot, KALKI is there too, and in forgettable role as annoying girl friend of UD- saif!

Violent, Stylish, Old Fashioned Killing- All in a pacy Action Flick!
RATINGS: 3.5/5 Stars
Keenu Reaves the true action hero is back with a bang. Even though this movie can easily be described as Mindless Action Flick, however the sheer brilliance Keenu puts in his character makes the movie a good one to watch.
The Ex hitman, JOHN WICK is back to take revenge from someone who has taken it all from him. The movie's story is just too simple so, i wont go there and would love that you go and watch this one!
However, in all this madness of killing there's a method to make this one a little different from a lot of Action Movies like this one.
The Darkness in the character absolutely comes out as JOHN WICK goes out to seek his revenge. The action seems so very real and the fearless assassin will blow your mind. The Characters of the movie, The Mafia Don- Played by Michael Nyqvist pulls of a real good show too!
Keenu as John Wick is brilliant with his small one liners and his style while his guns are doing all the talking.
Hollywood hardly creates somethings which is GOOD but yet there is no Story in there, this one serves just right to all your action senses of brain!
Movie Review: Finding Fanny (If Possible - Watch in English) 3.5 /5 Stars
Its Not an ART Movie- Its a Fun Movie This movie is in a different league. It's not a art movie made on a subject which is so deep that 2 hours of the movie isn't too much to reach to the depth of it.
This movie is not like whisky its more like lemon juice.
5 Human beings, a dead cat and A old car
First things first- Amazing group of actors and everyone will surprise you with their natural acting skills. Deepika Padukone has not just looked beautiful, but has been great in acting too. Arjun Kapoor hasnt really impressed in any of his movies, to me, but this one thankfully he has matched everyone on screen.Naseeruddin ShahDimple KapadiaPankaj Kapoor are superb too.
The direction is as good as it gets as when there are just 5 characters and the story is of 3 days without action and songs, direction has to be good. Homi Adajania has really done a great job. The story is about Naseeruddin shah- Fredie who posted a love letter to his beloved 46 years ago and never got a replied. He never married anyone as he truly deeply loved Fanny.
One day- He got the letter back which he wrote. It implied, Fanny never got the letter. Deepika - Angie, was a friend if this postman and have never felt love. As his husband died on the same day of reception.
Angie decided that she will find Fanny for Fredie so that he can tell her how much he loved her. For this, she takes Help of Ajun kapoor - Savio. Savio was also her love interest before the marriage and has just returned to village.
Pankaj Kapoor, Don Pedro is an artist who makes paintings of women. He is an extreme pervert and has lost his heart to the curves of Angie's mother in law played by Dimple Kapadia.
The movie is so light that even with a very light appeal it takes the audience on the road trip. Even though the characters are tangled in each other's life but there is so much space in between for the chemistry of any two characters.
The movie will not hold you to the seat and will grip your mind, but the movie slowly holds your hand and walk, till the end. The movie has a calm message- Take a Step towards love, Life will find love for you!
The movie might be in the same category of Ishqiya and will surely make you smile!

Liam Neeson is Good. Movie is Good- But haven't we seen the same before- in Taken Taken 2 ? It's based on a bestselling Novel and Neeson played an EX NYPD cop who is now a private detective. He taken on the Heroine Drugs trafficking gang this time.
The movie seemed predictive with average direction but you have to handover to this guy- LIAM, no matter howsoever average the script or screenplay is, he still makes the scene work.
See if you have become a fan of NEESON's New Found Action adventure roles in past few Years. His acting will not disappoint you; neither his action!
But Movie doesnt have a lot to remember it! It seemed like its Taken 3, without that much of FUN element!
Going with 2.75 Stars. Average Entertainment but still a good one time watch Action Thriller.
By the Way you may just forget that LIAM is 62 Years old now, and still looks so fit!

INTELLIGENT- REFRESHING -SOLID PERFORMANCES There's something about these movies of getting trapped, I kind of like it. Started with Resident Evil- Trapped in Umbrella Foundation; Cave- Trapped Below Earth and Hunger Games.
This one- The Maze Runner Comes as a pleasant surprise this week. After some really bad movies- 22 Jump Street , The Giver - 2014 , The Prince and Expendables, this movie is much better.
The thrill is out as we know the plot. No-one remembers who they are and last 3 years each month 1 guy comes in the MAZE. The maze is a Trap and no-one can leave the Maze. One who gets trapped in maze, can never come out. So maze is the home now.
Thomas was the second last one to come, and things start to change. The Maze has thrill drama action and a super cruncher for all young adults. And probably once they see it, they will have a lot to talk about in colleges, like I did after I saw Resident Evil.
Well, The trailer shows a lot but the movie literally grows in stature in 120 minutes, even thought the first 20 25 minutes are slow but that's Ok as the adaptation of Novels are like that.
Post Resident evil, this looks like a really interesting sci fi thriller. The movie has some really power performance. The lead- Dylan O'Brien is superb and has looked like a much better actor what Zac Efronever looked to me.
The movie end keeps it open for the sequence.
The Movie Has a few loopholes, like the first 20 minutes, the slowness of the plot in between and some abrupt end sequence.
But still a very good Watch. Going with More than 3.5 Star, may be 3.75. Must watch in THEATRE only.
Really??? For the Records- I hate Sonam Kapoor's Acting. Her supermodel styling sense is the only reason why she is still in Bollywood Columns in Newspapers and her Father is the Reason why she still gets movies. (And not surprisingly this movie is Anil Kapoor Production too!)
But this movie is such a feel good movie which will make you smile all 2 hours 10 minutes. The movie has its flaws but you can overlook them so easily.
Its not about the Acting of Sonam Kapoor neither her chemistry with Fawad Khan which makes this movie watchable. Its actually brilliant placement of characters. 1. Sonam as even with her OVER ACTING and bad acting skills, has looked cute as the PHYSIO 2. Fawad as Prince Vikram Singh has looked nothing less than ROyal with Absolutely FLAWLESS STYLING 3. Kiron Kher is simply superb in her PUNJABI Avatar as HYPER Cool Mom as MANJU 4. Ratna Pathak as The Queen and Super Courteous Lady and Strict Mom
The script was such that not much was required from the Actors on acting part. As the Movie is absolutely in One Tone- Light Humorous Mode.
As the trailer has shown the plot already, that a Physio- MILI, Played by SONAM comes to King's palace and changes the way they live by her flair and liveliness. Prince Vikram fell for her charming and stupid ways and Mili fell for this hot hunk prince. Kiron Kher as Monju is nothing less than Super Brilliant, and her dialogues are the best in the movie. So are the expressions of Queen.
The dilogue Delivery is strangely superb. The conversation of MILI and VIKRAM are 2 way! One they speak and the Exact opposite they think. It happens with most of us, but this is the first attempt to capture this humourous side of people's thinking.
The songs are a big let down and none of the songs are good.
But Over all, really this movie surprised me. Lovely Sweet and Funny!
Must go with friends and family.
I personally wasnt really a fan of a Pakistani actor in Indian Movies- Fawad, but he really has looked great! But really he slipped into the role beautifully. If Not him, i can only imagine VIDYUT doing this role. Serious, non speaking and still cute in some ways.
ALL GIRLS are requested to watch this flick as they would love their Men and Boyfriends to dress like FAWAD.

This movie is even worse than Dhoom 3. One of the most Over hyped movie of the year. The movie has three positive points and a countless flaws.
1. Seeing Hrithik Dance and His Perfect International Looks
2. Seeing Katrina moving her face left and right in close up shots
3. Exotic locations- Prague, Mauritius, Greece and London, after that I Lost Count.
And yes action sequences are good just that they are so badly put in the script that I am not sure if i can say that they are plus points.
And Then everything else is flaw. Movie's Bang Bang points which will shoot your mind:
1. Comedy villains- Javed Jafferey and Robert (Nothing as humorous as Andaz Apna Apna and Golmaal)
2. Breaking inside London prison and rescue DANNY in less than a minute
3. Hrithik taking out bullets from his waist as if he is picking a chicken piece stuck in his tooth
4. Awesomely shitty acting by Katrina and Hrithik. Katrina, just get married to Ranbir before he sees this movie and rejects the idea. You will be better off promoting Ranbir's Mumbai franchisee than acting.
Hrithik Sorry you disappointed. I am still a huge fan though.
5. And a movie's fitting end- Hrithik brought back home- by Katrina drove from Dubai to Dehradoon! To a BECHAARI MAA and BHULAKKAD BAAP and a Home which actually is NAMED GHAR, where his father does Gardening in 3 Ft Ice Covered ground.
List will go on.
The movie has literally no plot. movie started as if its DHOOM 2- Revisited and in the middle it seemed like ZIndagi Na Milegi Dobara, and in the end it went on to copy KNIGHT and DAY in the worst possible way. Tom Cruise, please dont watch this one.
Katrina, got stuck in a clash between a Super Villain and Indian Military to get back Kohinoor from Hrithik who plays a Super Thief who can travel from Europe to Asia in no time and who can dance and romance and in middle of a gun battle, crack jokes. Finally after a few Songs and some action sequence with Hrithik and Katrina travelling across globe, and killing the Main Villain.
Guys do watch this one, for GOOD LOOKS GOOD LOOKS and GOOD LOOKS.
By the way- Katrina has gained weight and whatever expression was left in her face in DHOOM 3 is gone too. For the records I still love her looks.
Movie has little to remember and a lot to laugh about after you have left theater.
Gripping- Dark- Powerful- Awesome Performances- A MASTERPIECE
I haven't read William Shakespeare's Hamlet . However, I can just feel why it's such a famous creation of William Shakespeare This movie leaves you spell bound, in haste and stirred inside, if not permanently shaken. And this might just be the Best Movie of Vishal Bhardwaj till date. Its a Movie which finally looks beyond the snow peaks and beautiful valleys of KASHMIR and talks about the people and their struggle!
A movie which starts with a search of disappeared father by Haider, a well educated lad, who fights within to see his Uncle having an affair with his Mom, who is a half widow now. And the end so horrific which will ask you to close your eyes and want the movie to get over!
The movie will ask questions, and you would conveniently wish to believe that NO this is not what must be happening in Kashmir. But the drama did reveal a lot of Kashmir with a strange straight forwardness without any political correctness. This movie touch upon Youth of Kashmir- Not knowing where to Go, Politics, lust of power and an unusual Love which is at the centre of the whole plot.
The power packed performance and the directional abilities are visible almost in every scene, where the extra slow script needed the support big time.
The actors: Shahid Kapoor is reborn with this movie after the Super Sad Movies- R…Rajkumar and Phata Poster Nikhla Hero. This movie is literally made for him. After Kaminey, he has acted with all his grit in this movie. His talent graphs are like too many lows together and Peaks are just too high at times with performances in Jab We MetKaminey and now HAIDER.
Every single actor has impressed in this Movie and with their effortless presence, they own their roles. I am not able to think if not Kay Kay Menonor Tabu who else could have done their roles. Irfan Khan is amazing with his impactful short role onscreen and his captivating voice.
Shraddha Kapoor has disappointed with her over the top acting. She has tried acting with a little more effort, and wide eyed approach. Though she has looked fair and fits in the role with a sad face and a muslim get up. Her accent too isn't as Kashmiri as she looks.
At last, the songs are strange but fits in the script superbly, and Rekha Bhardwaj's voice is a treat!
Overall, its absolutely not an entertainer- but a hard hitting story. Some of you may find it boring but at the end of the movie you wont say that the movie disappointed you.
It did not disappoint me either.
Loved this One! Going with 3.5 Stars. A little more could have been possible but just didn't enjoy it but got bitten by its darkness.
