Salman Khan came as DEVIL to Steal again in Mindless- KICK
Hrithik Roshan came as SUPER AGENT kohinoor Thief in Bang Bang
and Now Shah Rukh Khan is here with a bunch of people to steal DIAMONDS for Revenge.
Well, there was nothing that we were expecting from Farah Khan movie. An extension of Om Shanti Om and a little bit of Ocean's 11 and a hint of The Italian Job, Swades, Chak-de and little mix of Dance Tadka with Super Sexy Look of Deepika Padukone and Shah Rukh's 7 or 8 packs. Here's the recipe of a successful 300 Crore Movie.
The movie by the way also has Over acting King- Abhishek Bachchan who has been given full space to over act to fit in. BomanIrani who is mindlessly a Parsi Playboy who is also a Master in Safe Opening Technique. Vivaan shah (Son of Naseeruddin Shan) is the Hacker, that too so good that he can hack anything even the World's best Hotel security in 10 seconds. Deepika wanted to act hard like a Maharashtrian Bar Dancer, however forgets in between that she is Mohini.
The Story:
Shah Rukh (Don't know what he did for 8 years) is on the way to revenge his father (Anupam Kher) from Jackie Shroff a business tycoon. He makes his team with A COMPUTER HACKER (never looked like he was hacking), Safe Opening Master, A Explosive specialist, who hardly had to make explosives in the movie, and a Bar Dancer who wanted to dance to open a school. The revenge is funny as there is a lot of Indian-ness in the Movie, (which by the way i liked). Finally Mohini who teaches them Dance to get into a World Dance competition, in Dubai to Help them get to the safe! And in 6 months, a bunch of guys become WORLD CHAMPS in DANCE and came back as Winners as OLYMPICS.
Movie feels like its being acted. Deepika is Good in parts and Shahrukh is Ok! The movie has its moments, Dance and Songs and Indianness will make you smile. Even the repeated dialogs of previous SRK movies are funny, just that it felt disappointing as the movie could have been made in so much more real with the same 180 minutes.
Movie has little to be remembered for anytime next year but is certainly better than BANG BANG and DHOOM 3.
Going with 2 stars/ 5 personally. but because families will love this flick so, 2.5 Stars.
