CANDID REVIEW STREET : MOVIE REVIEW - INTERSTELLAR

Intersteller- CANDID REVIEWS- Movie Review

Simply Out of the World! Quite literally as the movie is about out of the world, the way this movie is made is – Just Wow!

Off course like Inception, Christopher Nolan has made sure, that this movie needs a serious PHYSICS Manual too. And in case you think that INCEPTION is the most complicated movie ever made, check out this one.

The movie brings to you the thoughts which we haven’t even dreamt off in wildest of our dreams, like:
- Life on other planet
- How is it to travel to other galaxies
- How about 1 hour on that planet = 7 years on earth

The movie direction is thrilling, edge of the seat excitement and thought crunching. As your mind wonders in disbelief, it puts your lips to smile feeling what if all this is possible, someday.

Unlike the Star Trek and Star Wars, and all other space movies made, (Barring Gravity) this is undoubtedly the best Sci Fi I have seen in long long time; Off course leaves behind Gravity in terms of creativity and imagination by a long margin.

I am no scientist, but thankfully way back in college I was interested in astro-physics. I guess that helped a little bit more to understand what movie is all about.
The movie challenges a lot of concept, and puts forth a few.
- There are galaxies and there are ways to reach those Galaxies
- Time and Gravity are no more constants
- Time travel
- Theory of Relativity
- Black Hole can be gentle

I know all this sound complicated but be prepared as the movie throws all this to you.

Interstellar is based on a NASA pilot, Engineer turned Farmer – Cooper (Matthew McConaughey), along with Anna Hathaway, who leave the Earth to find out is there another Galaxy where People on Earth can settle? The big question leads the team to travel in space between stars and to a planet. The movie showcases the different factors of other world which may be theoretical but looks amazingly true on screen. In midst of everything there is a strong daughter-father relationship at the core of the story, which keeps the movie ticking along

What’s Not Exceptional?

The first half of the movie is exceptionally slow and will bother you a bit! Also the background music of the movie isn’t great. Anna Hathaway hasn’t really impressed so much. May be she is too good looking to act that well on a space mission. And the fact that how the movie ends and how the Lead Character Survives, is really a big question mark? But Everything else is Beyond Imagination and Expectation.

Going with 4 Stars!

Could have been a 4.5 star movie, but just can’t put this movie alongside The Dark Knight and Inception from the same Director. But this is CHRISTOPHER NOLAN’s BEST Movie EVER!!! Even Better than the IMAGINATIONS of AVATAR!
